Former finance minister to speak at leadership conference

Curtis Dickinson, the former Minister of Finance, is a key presenter at a panel discussion tomorrow morning examining how local leaders can turn volatility into opportunity, during the inaugural Bermuda Strategic Leadership Conference.

The conference at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is presented by Ask Bermuda Ltd, the business and leadership consultancy, and British-based Amicus Ltd, the leadership advisory firm cofounded and led by Sir Peter Wall, the former head of the British Army.

Mr Dickinson is joined by Michelle Seymour Smith non-executive director, and former chief transformation officer at Arch Capital Group, with moderator Jennifer Carnegie, founder and chief operating officer of Amicus.

General Sir Peter, the chief executive of Amicus, will deliver the keynote address, “Leadership and Motivation in The Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

He also will run the afternoon masterclass, “Leadership at the Top – Running High-Performing Organisations”.

The conference is designed for those in senior leadership positions, including C-suite executives and board members.

Sir Peter was chief of the general staff, the professional head of the army, from 2010 to 2014 and retired as a general in 2015.
