Conyers summer law programme
Six students have joined this year’s cohort of the Conyers Bermuda Summer Law Student Programme.
Over an eight-week period, Taylor Crichlow, Owen Figureido, Ava Gibson, Kaliyah Lee-Tucker, Caitlin Pimentel-Bento and Tiara Simons will work alongside lawyers in the firm’s corporate and litigation practices.
They will gain experience in active matters, from drafting and research to attending client meetings and court. Students will be mentored by partners and associates, offering a practical look at what a legal career entails.
The programme is designed to support the development of young legal talent and help prepare them for future roles in the legal field.
In addition to legal work, students also take part in seminars focusing on legal skills and best practices.
The programme also offers networking opportunities, providing students a broader perspective of the legal profession and helping them build a solid foundation for the next stage of their legal career.
“Conyers Summer Law Student Programme reflects the firm’s dedication in supporting the growth of emerging legal talent,” said Christian Luthi, chairman and director.
“We are proud to provide students with what will hopefully be a meaningful, hands-on experience that not only builds their skills but also gives them a true sense of what it means to be part of a leading offshore law firm. We see it as an investment in their future and the future of the legal profession in Bermuda.”
The programme is open to all law students and recent legal graduates who demonstrate a strong academic record and a genuine interest in the law.
Applications for the summer of 2026 are being accepted via the firm’s website until March 31.
