Wakefield Quin legal scholarship goes to Jacob Matthews

Wakefield Quin has awarded its 2025 legal scholarship to Jacob Matthews. Mr Matthews earned his bachelor of arts from the University of Western Ontario and will begin an accelerated law degree at the University of Law in Britain.

Erik Gotfredsen, director and chief executive of the Bermudian-based law firm, remarked: “Jacob exemplifies the qualities we seek in future legal professionals. He has established a strong academic track record, enriched by meaningful extracurricular involvement and a clear commitment to community service.

“We are confident he will make valuable contributions to Bermuda’s legal landscape in the years ahead.”
