Corrado posts six podium finishes
Stephen Corrado was a model of consistency during weekend karting at Southside Raceway.Corrado posted six podium finishes competing in both the TAG Senior and 125cc Shifter Classes to cap a memorable day at the race track.He managed two seconds and a third in the three heats contested in the TAG Senior Class and had two firsts and a second in the 125cc Shifter Class respectively.Corrado is currently third in the Senior TAG Class and second in the 125cc Shifter Class which both remain wide open.Bermuda Karting Club president Jason (Skuzzie) North won two heats in the TAG Senior Class while Patrick Ingham won the remaining heat.Shannon Caisey won the remaining heat in the 125cc Shifter Class respectively.Scott Barnes, who did not compete at the weekend, still leads both the TAG Senior and 125cc Classes.Zavier Smith won all three heats in the Junior Stock Clone Class (10-15 yrs). Current Junior Stock Clone Class points leader Blake Horseman did not compete.There was no racing in the Junior Stock Clone (7-10 yrs) and Junior Modified Clone Classes (10-15 yrs) at the weekend.Ryan Burgess is the sole driver in the Junior Stock Clone Class (7-10 yrs) while Ryan Burgess currently leads the Junior Modified Clone Class (10-15 yrs).Racing continues at Southside Raceway on March 17.
