Michael Dunkley has kicked off the Bermuda SPCA’s annual tag days which be held tomorrow and Saturday.

With his two and a half-year-old golden retriever, Breeze, at his side, the Premier said he was “very pleased to support the SPCA” as he bought the first tag.

“My family and I are all animal lovers and we have always had animals in our lives,” he added. “They cannot speak for themselves and they need our support.”

Tomorrow, SPCA tags will be sold at Butterfield Bank (Reid Street and the Rosebank Centre), the Hamilton Ferry Terminal, The Garden Market, The MarketPlace on Church Street, The Phoenix Centre and the Supermart.

On Saturday tags can be bought at A1 (Collector’s Hill), Lindo’s (Warwick), The Heron Bay MarketPlace, the Shelly Bay MarketPlace, Paget Pharmacy and Noah’s Ark.

There are still a few spots open for anyone who wants to sell tags. They can sign up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080e4aa8ad22a3f49-spca
