For the 3rd consecutive year, the Bermuda Football Association has donated proceeds from its Corporate Beach Soccer Tournament to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda organization. This year $1,000.00 was donated.

Both organizations would also like to thank the event sponsors: John Barritt & Son Ltd, Butterfield & Vallis and Bermuda General Agency. Don Vickers, the assistant technical development director at the BFA, said: “To ensure that the vital work of local charities is sustained, it is important that we can find ways to work together to enhance our community.

The annual summer sports activity at Horseshoe Bay was part of the BFA's plan to increase the local interest in this international sport and in the long-term, take part in the Beach Soccer World Cup.

Participants included teams from the business community such as, Aon, Bermuda Police Service, Butterfield Bank, Colonial, KPMG and PwC as well as ‘Littles' from Big Brothers Big Sisters' mentoring program.
