Railway Trail made safe

An unstable rock face that threatened to collapse on a stretch of the Railway Trail has been shored up.

The section of trail at Bailey’s Bay, Hamilton Parish, had to be closed earlier this year for repairs.

It is now open for walkers along North Shore after the Ministry of Public Works buttressed the crumbling cliff face with a retaining wall.
