A cargo ship made an unscheduled stop in Bermuda for engine repairs this week. The BBC Trinidad, which has general cargo on board, arrived in St. George on Monday.

Spare parts were expected to be delivered last night in the hope that the ship — en route from Cadiz in Spain — can continue to Houston, Texas, today.

High winds delayed the British Serenity from delivering her load of fuel to Belco this week.

The vessel was anchored at Murray's Anchorage yesterday in the hope of making it in to Esso oil docks tomorrow.

The Oleander arrived on Sunday with 144 dry containers and 42 refrigerated containers. Among the load was a boat, a van, a truck, two cars and six road trailers.

The Bermuda Islander is set to arrive at Hamilton Docks tomorrow with 105 containers on board. She will leave on Friday.

The Somers Isles is due in on Friday and will leave on Saturday. No details on her cargo were available by press time.
