Two freighters, both carrying shipments of chicken, and both destined for St. Petersburg in Russia, diverted to Bermuda over the weekend.

The Andre diverted to Bermuda on Sunday to drop off a sick crew member at around 4 p.m. The crewman is currently receiving treatment at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital awaiting medical tests.

Green Klipper arrived on Island on Saturday for repairs. It is expected to remain on Island for the next few days.

Regular caller Somers Isles will arrive today at 8 a.m. and leave at 11 a.m. on Friday. It will bring 147 containers, including 12 refrigerated ones into Bermuda.

The Bermuda Islander is expected to arrive in Bermuda on Thursday at 8 a.m. and it will depart at 8 a.m. on Friday, bringing 144 containers, including 25 refrigerated ones and two 45-foot flatbeds.

Oleander arrived from its hub in Port Elizabeth, New Jersey on Sunday, carrying 164 dry containers and 43 refrigerated containers.

Its miscellaneous cargo consisted of six flatbeds, 14 cars, one mafi and two buses. It sailed from Bermuda at 8.05 a.m. yesterday.

Oil tanker Lucy PG was expected to arrive within our shores yesterday at 2 p.m. to discharge a shipment of fuel for the Shell oil company at the Esso oil docks in St. George's.

It will sail out some time today.

The LPG Gas Sincerity will arrive on the Island tomorrow to discharge liquid propane gas for Shell, also at the Esso oil docks. She will sail out on the same day.
