Last cruise ship of the season set to depart

The cruise ship season comes to an end this week with the arrival of Grandeur of the Seas yesterday at King's Wharf at Dockyard with 1,896 passengers.

It will sail out at 4 p.m. today.

The cargo vessel Bermuda Islander is due to arrive tomorrow morning from Salem, New Jersey, bringing 136 containers, which includes 21 refrigerated ones.

Plus, its miscellaneous cargo will consist of four 45-foot flat-bed trailers and one boat. She will depart on Friday morning.

Oleander arrived from Port Elizabeth, New Jersey on Sunday carrying 141 containers, including 41 refrigerated ones. Its miscellaneous cargo consisted of ten flatbeds, one mafi, one truck and one boat on a trailer. It sailed from Bermuda at 10.05 a.m. on Monday.

Meanwhile, Fayal Cement is expected on the Island on Friday, around lunchtime, at Dockyard, with a full load of cement. After a 30-hour load discharge it will sail out.
