Occupational therapist Michelle Gray and activities coordinator Capri Smith say their passion for their work in servicing the elderly motivated them to create the Snoezelen room at KEMH.
The room is quite small and has been outfitted on a small budget of under $3,000. There are many pieces of equipment that can be added.
Topping the wish-list of the two women is a sensory trolley that comes fully loaded with all the props to help bring the outside world to bed-ridden patients.
For more information on how you can help call Capri Smith on 239-2021.
