Dear Sir,Reading your Monday headline about the Corporation of Hamilton’s expenses made me want to get sick. I know that Minister Fahy has taken steps to amend the Municipalities Act and anyone who wants to criticise those steps should read this article a few times. But this is what happens when you put things on the backburner.The OBA Government is going to look very vulnerable if it doesn’t do something drastic immediately.Suspending the Corporation’s right to govern — a la what happened in the Turks and Caicos — would be a welcome relief. Mr Pettingill should also be very, very active looking at the financial affairs of the so-called leaders of the Corporation.SKY LARKIN
