Law firm Appleby Spurling and Kempe (AS&K) has announced the opening of a London office.

Located in the heart of the city in the historic Royal Exchange Buildings, AS&K London will serve clients in the UK and continental Europe.

The London office is headed by Warren Cabral as managing partner and partner Hiren Patel and will provide advice covering company and commercial law including insurance, asset finance and banking, mutual funds, securitisation, e-commerce and intellectual property/information technology, as well as trust, employment and immigration law.

Senior and managing partner of AS&K Bermuda Dianna Kempe said: "We are very excited about this latest development for the firm and our expanded ability to serve clients directly, in the same time zone, in this key market.

The official opening of the London office will be on February 13, when over 200 lawyers and senior executives from London's business community will attend a gala reception.
