Ballerina finds new stage

The recently-formed China Bermuda Society appointed ballerina Elizabeth Wang as a fellow at a dinner in New York last month.

The society was set up by Bermudian law firm Milligan-Whyte and Smith to promote business links between the Island and the communist giant, and it will hold four meetings each year.

The dinner was held at the Harvard Club of New York on July 22 and was co-sponsored by XL Capital, Omnia Life Bermuda, BChinaB, and Milligan-Whyte and Smith.

Ms Wang is a New York gallery owner specialising in contemporary Chinese artists and a former leading ballerina in China.
