Bank of Bermuda shares yesterday jumped in price by $1.75 - and pushed the Bermuda Stock Exchange index up by 54 points.

Just 500 Bank of Bermuda shares changed hands, but the price rose by 5.3 percent to close at $35.00. 80 Bank of Butterfield stock traded, closing unchanged at $33.50 and KeyTech's common shares also finished unchanged at $10.35.

The index closed up 2.29 percent at 2,414.39 on a volume of 1,492 shares worth $29,578. No bonds traded.
