More than $2 million was spent yesterday on Bank of Bermuda stock on Bermuda Stock Exchange, pushing its price up by 50 cents or more than one percent to $43.50.

The only other shares to change hands were Bank of Butterfield, which remained at $32.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 15.65 points or 0.61 percent at 2,595.56 on a volume of 50,570 worth $2,162,979.
