The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 4.80 points yesterday to close at 4,354.57.

On a quiet day of trading Belco was the only issue to decline as its share price fell 50 cents to close at $38.50 on volume of 337 shares.

While no other issues changed price, Butterfield Bank traded in 2,100 shares to close unchanged at $55.75 as investors traded in 2,100 shares and MediaHouse Limited traded in 31 shares to close at $6.55.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $138,123.05 and the overall volume of shares was 2,468.
