The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 50.45 points yesterday to close at 4,345.26.

On a relatively active day of trading Butterfield Bank fell 50 cents to close at $55.50 as 6,494 shares changed hands.

Argus also fell 50 cents to close at $14 on volume of 600 shares and KeyTech lost 50 cents to close at $12.50 as investors traded in 2,000 shares.

While no other issues changed price Bermuda Commercial Bank traded in 200 shares to close unchanged at $8.25, Bermuda Aviation Services traded in 30 shares to close unchanged at $6 and 50 Stevedoring Services changed hands to close unchanged at $7.

Belco also traded in 3,459 shares to close unchanged at $39.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $530,869.50 and the overall volume of shares was 12,833.
