BSX drops 15.94 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday fell 15.94 points to close at 2,442.73 points.

The Bank of Butterfield was the only company to see an increase in its share price, which rose 50 cents to close at $29.50. The Bank traded 19,157 shares.

The Bank of Bermuda fell 70 cents, to close at $45.30, with trading of 12,556 shares.

Other financial institutions also saw price drops: LOM Holdings fell 35 cents to $3.50, while Bermuda Commercial Bank lost five cents to finish at $1.

Key Tech - the parent company of BTC, Logic Communications and part owner of Cablevision - saw the day's biggest loss: $3 to close at $41. The company saw trading of 117 shares.

Argus Insurance also saw a downward shift, with its share price going down five cents to close at $21.45, while 500 shares traded.
