The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index edged up 1.99 points to close at 2,271.15 as Bank of Bermuda posted a slight gain.

The bank gained ten cents to close at $31.10 on volume of 5,048 shares, offsetting a 25 cent drop in Bermuda Commercial Bank shares to $6.25 on volume of 2,500.

On the Nasdaq, the Bank of Bermuda closed down six cents at $33.28.

total volume on the BSX was 5,548 shares worth $172,613.
