BSX falls as Belco drops

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 6.66 points yesterday to close at 4,363.13.On a light day of trading Bermuda Commercial Bank was the only issue to advance, gaining 70 cents to close at $8.25 as investors traded in 100 shares.

Belco was the only issue to lose ground, declining $1.30 to close at $38.60 as 800 shares change hands.
While no other issue changed price, Butterfield Bank traded in 41 shares to close unchanged at $54.50 on volume of 41 shares, Argus traded in 60 shares to remain unchanged at $14.05 and BF&M traded in 30 shares to close unchanged at $17.25.
The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $35,361.50 and the overall volume of shares was 1,031 shares.
