The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained over six points yesterday after Argus and Bermuda Commercial Bank posted gains.

The bank gained 70 cents or 11.1 percent to close at $7, while Argus gained 50 cents or 2.6 percent to finish at $19.50.

The index closed up 0.26 percent, or 6.38 points, to close at 2,432.74 on a volume of 11,737 shares worth $233,817.25.
