BSX Index drops 22,47 points

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index dropped 22.47 points or 0.95 percent yesterday to close at 2,335.34.
The Bank of Bermuda remained unchanged at $40 despite almost 30,000 shares changing hands, and the Bank of Butterfield lost $1 or 3.2 percent to close at $30.50 with volume of 2,000 shares.
LOM also saw some action and gained 10 cents or 2.7 percent to close at $3.75 with volume of 500 shares.
The only other issue to be traded was BF&M Ltd. which remained unchanged at $8.30 after 400 shares were traded.
