The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index dipped yesterday after Bank of Bermuda stock dropped marginally on a quiet day of trading.

Bank of Bermuda lost 25 cents to close at $43.00, but this was balanced out slightly by Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, the owners of The Royal Gazette, gaining 40 cents to close at $11.

The index closed down 7.27 points or 0.28 percent at 2,605.25 on a volume of 3,250 shares worth $125,735.50. No bonds were traded.
