A quiet week of trading saw The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index rise overall nearly 1.5 percent on less than $200,000 worth of trades.

Bank of Bermuda gained $1.25 to close at $35.50 while Bermuda Commercial bank lost 70 cents to close at $6.30.

Argus gained 50 cents to finish at $20.00 and KeyTech lost 25 cents to close at $10.25.

The index closed up 36.429 points or 1.47 percent at 2,480.19 on a volume of 16,120 shares worth $172,630.80.
