The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index rallied higher yesterday gaining 26.72 points or 1.11 percent to close at $2,430.22. A total of 82,196 shares worth $3,627,098 were traded.

Leading the charge was the Bank of Bermuda which gained 50 cents or 1.1 percent to close at $45 on volume of 77,890. The Bank of Butterfield gained 15 cents or 0.5 percent to close at $28.25 on volume of 3,200.

Belco Holdings gained 50 cents or 1.8 percent to close at $28 on volume of 986 shares, and KeyTech Ltd. gained $3 or 7.3 percent to close at $44 on volume of 100 shares.
