BSX lull continues

The Bermuda Stock Exchange continued a Christmas lull yesterday. While six or seven figures worth of stock changes hands on most days, yesterday only $13,925 was traded. The index gained half of one percent to close at 2,228.36.
Bank of Butterfield shares were the only issue that changed. The stock gained half a point to close at $31, with 450 shares changing hands.
