Bank stocks drove the exchange, with Bank of Butterfield dropping .90? or 3.1 percent to $28.10 with 6,256 shares trading. The Bank of Bermuda traded 5,159 shares, gaining $1 or 2.4 percent to close at 43.50.

BELCO shares were the only other share stock to trade hands yesterday with 300 being sold at $27, a 1.9 percent jump or 50?.
