The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index rose 5.51 points to close at 2,272.37 points yesterday in continued light trading.

Bank of Butterfield gained 25 cents to close at $33.25 on volume of 1,400 shares while BF&M was unchanged at $10.25 on volume of 1,300. Total volume was 2,700 shares worth $59,650.
