Butterfield is appointed COO of Bank of Bermuda
Bank of Bermuda yesterday announced it had appointed Philip M. Butterfield to Chief Operating Officer as of today.
Bermudian Mr. Butterfield joined the bank in June 2000 as Chief Administration Officer, and had global responsibility for the bank's operations, Information Systems and Human Resources divisions.
His new post will involve overall responsibility for the day to day operations of the bank.
He will now become a member of the chief executive.
Mr. Butterfield joined Bank of Bermuda after spending 28 years at Citibank.
His last post with Citibank was Managing Director responsible for the Corporate Executive segment of Citibank Private Bank in the United States.Before joining Citibank, he worked as Quality Director for the Operations & Technology Division for North American Global Finance.
