Exchange gains points over the week
The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange index gained 11.621 points or 0.44 percent in a busy week of trading last week to close at 2,634.09.
A total of 95,350 shares worth $3,073,257.65 shares were traded.
The Bank of Bermuda finished the week unchanged at $44 despite 35,280 shares being traded. The Bank of Butterfield gained 50 cents or 1.54 percent to close at $33 after 35,655 shares were traded. Bermuda Commercial Bank fell 25 cents or 3.57 percent to close at $6.75 after 1,000 shares were traded.
Masters Ltd. fell 50 cents or 8.33 percent to close at $5.50 after 2,000 shares were traded.
BF&M Ltd. gained 25 cents or 2.78 percent to close at $9.25 after 6,600 shares were traded, and BF&M warrants fell 50 cents or four percent to close at $12 after 1,500 issues were traded.
Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. gained 60 cents or six percent to close at $10.60 after 1,745 shares were traded.
Bermuda Container Line gained 45 cents or 8.91 percent to close at $5.50 after 6,500 shares were traded.
In the Utilities sector, KeyTech Ltd. fell 50 cents or 1.16 percent to close at $42.50 after 4,570 shares were traded.
BTC warrants gained $1.50 or 1.55 percent to close at $98.50 on volume of 198,000.
