Bermuda-based e-commerce technology provider, First Atlantic Commerce (FAC) has selected Mutual Trust Management (MTM), a subsidiary of Mutual Risk Management (MRM), to offer its customers multi-jurisdictional corporate services to provide them with flexibility to operate in the region that best fits their business strategy.

Citing the opportunities and challenges that corporations face in today's increasingly demanding marketplace, MTM partnered with FAC to take advantage of the company's payment solutions technology and strategic alliances with acquiring banks through the Latin American Caribbean region.

MTM developed a virtual activity centre to provide offshore awareness to its corporate e-commerce clients and FAC will provide virtual activity centre clients with e-commerce payment solutions in the offshore jurisdiction most suitable for their business needs.

"With a growing number of our clients in need of specialised e-business services, we needed an e-commerce provider with expertise both in the offshore business environment and in payment processing technology," said MTM's chairman Christopher Samuelson.

MTM plans to refer its corporate clients to FAC for e-commerce services and consultation as FAC provides e-business with real-time credit card payment solutions, risk management and fraud prevention services as well as acquirer consulting services to banks.

FAC plans to refer clients to MTM for corporate services and international structure management as MTM develops and manages international structures using only bona fide financial centres.
