Heavy trading drives BSX up

On a busy day of trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday four stocks changed price, pushing up the index by over 11 points.
The biggest gain was in the price of the little traded Watlington Waterworks, which gained $1.50 to reach its 52 week high of $6.50.
Belco gained 75 cents to close at its 52-week high of $32.75. Bank of Butterfield rose 25 cents to finish at $33.75.
The only loss was in the price of stock for Long Botham Boats, the owners of Henry VIII and Robin Hood, which fell 20 cents to close at $4.30.
The index closed up 11.6 points or 0.46 percent at 2,425.45 on a volume of 7,104 shares worth $124,734.65.
