It's time to apply for five information technology scholarships worth a total of $20,000 is running out.

Students have until the end of the month to apply for the scholarships, ranging from BD$2,000 to BD$10,000 from the Computer Society of Bermuda.

"We have had some very favourable response, but we want to remind the public that openings are still available," said chairman of the scholarship committee Rick Bartlett.

To be eligible the applicants must be Bermudian with at least five years of schooling in Bermuda. They must have reached the age of 17 by August 31 in the year of the award, and must submit evidence that they achieved at least five GCSE levels or equivalent; two of which must be English and Mathematics.

Application forms can be obtained from members of the scholarship committee, on the Computer Society website at www.csb.bm, or in writing from: Scholarship Committee, Computer Society of Bermuda Ltd., P.O. Box 1479, Hamilton HM FX. Completed applications should be addressed 'Personal and Confidential' and posted no later than May 31.
