The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 67.82 points yesterday to close at 4,364.61 as three of the Index's major stocks lost ground.

Belco Holdings fell $1.25 to close at $37.50 as investors traded in 3,788 shares, Argus fell $1 to close at $14 on volume of 6,100 shares and Butterfield Bank lost 50 cents to close at $55.75 as 8,143 shares changed hands.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $685,651.25 and the overall volume of shares was 18,031.
