The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 2.39 points or 0.1 percent yesterday to close at 2,403.50. A total of 13,483 shares worth $537,400 were traded.

Both the Bank of Bermuda and the Bank of Butterfield remained unchanged at $44.50 and $28.50 respectively despite 10,100 Bank of Bermuda shares and 1,910 Bank of Butterfield shares being traded.

In the Insurance sector, Argus Insurance Co. Ltd. saw 1,101 shares traded but finished the day unchanged at $21.50. And BF&M Ltd. also remained unchanged at $8.25 despite 30 shares being traded.

The only gainer for the day was Belco Holdings which gained 50 cents or 1.9 percent to close at $27.50 after 400 shares were traded. And KeyTech Ltd. remained unchanged at $41 with just 33 shares traded.
