Revellers can look forward to the re-opening of the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Happy Hour tomorrow evening.

The return of the popular weekly event heralds the start of summer.

Ian Powell, general manager of the Hamilton Princess, said the event is one locals look forward to every season.

Happy hours draws both workers celebrating the end of the week and regular hotel guests, however.

This year marks the fifth year the Hamilton Princess will operate Happy Hour at the outdoor venue with its unique brand of entertainment.

?It?s an amazing phenomenon and I think a lot of it has to do with the location,? said Mr. Powell.

?You are out there looking at the harbour, it?s pretty and scenic and it?s a happy gathering ground.

?It is marvellous that we are so well situated to a number of offices, from which of a high proportion of people attend.

?They can kick off the weekend by having a drink in some style.?

This year Hamilton Princess will feature DJ SS every week and live music entertainers are also scheduled to appear on alternate weeks.

?Monday through Friday, Hamilton Princess is a primarily a corporate hotel but at the weekend it changes and we become a leisure hotel with weekend guests, with people dancing on the balconies,? said Mr. Powell.
