Professional organisers to aid Project Action
Four professional organisers will be coming to the Island next week to donate their time and efforts in helping Project Action to assist seniors and the physically challenged in the community. Barry Iszak, the president of the National Association of Professional Organisers (NAPO) and NAPO members Marsha Sims, Lynn Gross-Cerf, Holly Uverity and Cindy Swan will facilitate workshops on organising tools on March 28.
Participants will also learn marketing methods and practical tools that will enable them to get immediate results.
?The charity is in danger of ending this critical service many seniors and the physically challenged have grown to depend on, enabling them to get door to door free transport to their various medical appointments grocery shopping or wherever they want to go,? Mrs. Swan said.
Project Action is in need of financial pledges to continue the service and the international facilitators are all donating their professional services to this cause.
Project Action is the sole benefactor of the proceeds from these workshops, so participants will not only learn innovative tips from experts but support seniors and the physically challenged.
All monies are raised from private sector donations, volunteers and community fundraising endeavours.
