A quiet week of trading on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange saw the index rise by just over seven points.

Bank of Butterfield gained 25 cents to close at $34.25 and BF&M also rose 25 cents to finish at $10.25. The index closed up 0.3 percent at 2,440.09 on a volume of 23,864 shares worth $399,309.50.
