Students head to California
Eleven dynamic Bermudian M3 students from across the Island have each won have each won an all-expense paid trip to California to tour some of the colleges that hopefully they may attend in their future.
Bermuda International Business Association recenty announced it has chosen the winners of its Fourth annual Most Improved Student Contest.
The eleven California bound middle school students are Dellwood's Jamai Gomes and Chantel Seymour. Sandy's Dantel McGowan and Kiara Richardson. Detre Virgil, Kayla McConnie and Nahjay Spence of Whitney Institute. Spice Valley's, Denzel Johnston and Joliza Vanderpool. Joshua Powell of Mount Saint Agnes and Clearwater's Tiara Smith.
Students from private and public schools registered for the contest, which requires M3 students to make a commitment to improve their grades, attitude and overall effort towards their school work, peers and teachers.
