TeleBermuda International (TBI)is opening a new retail space in Hamilton.

The long distance carrier has taken over a space on the corner of Queen Street and Reid Street that was recently vacated with the closure of the Harbourmaster's Reid Street branch.

TBI, which has been offering long distance in Bermuda for four years, is set to open the new space on December, 3.

TBI spokesperson Tamiko Black said the new location will offer customers a more central office to pay long-distance bills. She added that calling cards will also be sold and the public will have access to payphones for use with TBI calling cards or for direct dial calling.

Ms Black said the centre will also feature information on the company's products and services - including the company's recently launched Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) service.

The company's sales office will remain at its current location on Victoria Street.
