Telecommunications network in service

announced that the Pangea Network is now in service and extends more than 7,150 miles through Northern Europe, Scandinavia and the Baltic Region.

The network provides high capacity voice, data, video and Internet transmission to other communications companies operating in Northern Europe and Scandinavia -- regions historically underserved by the major network providers for Western Europe, the company said.

"Our goal is to become the key alternative provider in some of the fastest growing but under-served sectors of the European marketplace -- the North Sea and Baltic regions,'' said the newly elected chairman of the company, Larry Codacovi.

"We are taking major steps to achieve this. We have significant investments in place, our network is completed on schedule and we are strengthening our executive team. As part of our network launch celebration in London, we announced that our former Vice Chairman and director Anthony J. Cassara has been appointed CEO, as I move into my newly elected position as chairman of the board.'' The Pangea Network is currently providing regional connectivity to several companies -- most recently to Arrowhead AB and Equant NV. Arrowhead is one of Sweden's largest new broadband operators, delivering high quality broadband solutions and advanced consultancy services to Scandinavian and Baltic companies. Equant operates the world's largest network, providing voice, data, Internet, application and integration services to companies around the globe.
