Another cruise ship this week made its final call to Bermuda for the year as the cruise ship season winds down.
The Zenith brought 1,312 visitors to the Island this week for its final trip to Bermuda.
But the ship did not move to St. George's yesterday as scheduled due to weather conditions.
Harbour Radio said the ship set off and then turned back to Hamilton because of heavy swells.
John S. Darrell reported that it was business as usual for the cruise liners Song of America and the Royal Majesty which brought in 1,394 and 961 passengers, respectively.
Song of America arrived Tuesday morning, while the Royal Majesty arrived Wednesday. Both were scheduled to leave the Island tomorrow.
The pair will make their last voyage for the season next week.
In news from the Hamilton docks, Meyer reported that the container ship Bermuda Islander arrived on Monday morning with 81 containers, including ten refrigerated ones.
Container Ship Management reported that the Oleander arrived on Monday with 143 container, four 40 foot trailers of steel, two cars, one Mack truck. It left on Tuesday.
The car ship Rockies Highway came to Bermuda from Haiti on October 20 to unloaded her cargo and then set off for Florida.
And the Offshore Venture is also in port to survey the sea bottom for telephone cable laying.
IN SHELTER -- The survey ship Offshore Venture took shelter from heavy seas during Hurricane Lili, but is due to sail again today.
