CalciTech opens new technical centre
centre near CalciTech Group Services' SARL administrative offices at Ferney Voltaire, which is adjacent to Geneva Airport.
The company said the centre is equipped with all necessary test apparatus and tools to allow initial feasibility assessment of raw materials, such as carbide lime or other impure lime products, for the process to convert these materials into high quality precipitated calcium carbonate, `PCC'.
The company said this new facility enables CalciTech to significantly reduce the evaluation and testing time and cost in its continuous efforts to further optimise its PCC process to remediate a wide variety of feed materials and tailor make PCC products for a variety of application areas.
CalciTech's technical director Joos Gerlings said: "I am very pleased with the opening of the centre, particularly as it means a much faster response to technical inquiries from interested potential customers and partners.''
