Students between the ages of ten and 15 will meet at the Bermuda Cathedral Hall at 5 p.m. to enjoy a snack before learning several pieces of music from David Davis, the artistic director of the Hamilton Children's Choir in Ontario, Canada.

Mrs. Henderson said the students will rehearse again on Saturday afternoon in preparation for their Sunday afternoon concert.

And she said that over 100 singers have registered for the Adult Workshop which also gets underway tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral.

Dr. Raphael Bundage of Middle Tennessee State University will once again conduct the workshop with the assistance of baritone, John Kramar.

The adult workshop continues on Saturday and concludes with a 4 p.m. Sunday concert at the Cathedral. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.

SPEAKER TRUMPETS FAMILY VALUES CLB Speaker trumpets family values Bringing out the best in people can help to solve some of the ills of modern life, including the plague of drugs.

Hamilton Rotary Club heard Linda Kavelin Popov talk of the importance of returning to basic family values and wisdom that cut across cultural and religous boundaries.

Speaking at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, she told Rotarians the Virtues Project -- of which she is one of the founders -- that it was not about God but about values such as courage.

The project started in 1991 and was honoured by the United Nations as a model for all families of all cultures within the International Year of the Family.

"This project started humbly but it spread throughout the whole world,'' she said.

She remarked on how during her short time on the Island she had seen virtues of trust and friendliness among Bermudians.
