The move was announced at the companies' annual general meetings held at the Sonesta Beach Resort Hotel. Mr. Wesley will replace Jon R. King who has elected to retire after five years in the position.

Weather meeting set The Fairmont Southampton Princess Hotel will host the annual convention of the Weather Risk Management Association on June 5-7.

Discussions are underway for an analysts session at the convention. WRMA's board would like to hear any suggestions for topics for the sessions and ask interested people to email them at www.wrma.org.

TYCO DECLARES DIVIDEND BUC Tyco declares dividend The board of directors of Bermuda-based Tyco International Ltd. yesterday declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of one and one quarter cents per common share.

The dividend is payable on May 2, 2001 to shareholders of record on April 2, 2001.

Tyco is the world's largest manufacturer and servicer of electrical and electronic components; the world's largest designer, manufacturer, installer and servicer of undersea telecommunications systems; the world's largest manufacturer, installer and provider of fire protection systems and electronic security services, and the world's largest manufacturer of flow control valves.

BSX SUSPENDS ISSUE STK BSX suspends issue The Bermuda Stock Exchange announced last week that it has suspended the trading of Euro Capital Markets (Series A) Trust 9 percent Asset Backed Certificates.

BANK BUYS SHARES STK Bank buys shares The Bank of Bermuda advised the Bermuda Stock Exchange that it bought back 10,000 of its common shares last Friday.

This followed a buyback of 1,300 shares last Thursday and was done under the share buyback program announced in December 1998.

HK LAND WINS TENDER BUC HK Land wins tender Bermuda-registered Hongkong Land Holdings Ltd. yesterday announced the consortium comprising Hongkong Land, Cheung Kong (Holdings) and Keppel Land has been awarded the tender for the site at Raffles Quay/Marina Boulevard in Singapore.

Hongkong Land owns and manages around 5 million square feet of prime office and retail space in the heart of Hong Kong's central business district and is part of the Jardine Matheson group.
