Butterfield Bank climbed for a second successive day to help push local stocks higher.The bank gained three cents, or two percent, to $1.49, as 150 shares changed hands in Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) trading.Insurer and investments company BF&M Ltd. also gained two percent, as its shares rose 26 cents to $13.01 on the trading of 100 shares.

The bank gained three cents, or two percent, to $1.49, as 150 shares changed hands in Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) trading.
Insurer and investments company BF&M Ltd. also gained two percent, as its shares rose 26 cents to $13.01 on the trading of 100 shares.
Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. was the one issuer to fall yesterday, tumbling 39 cents, or 8.7 percent, to $4.11, as 2,400 of its shares were exchanged. The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 14.47 points, or 1.2 percent, to 1,264.21.
Domestic board volume was 2,650 shares, with turnover of $12,213.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day unchanged on 1,015 points.
