Bermuda Container Line Ltd. dropped 10 percent ($1.40) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The shipping company traded 1,000 shares to close at $12.55.

The Ascendant Group Ltd. also fell 1.3 percent (20 cents) to $15.05, with 838 shares changing hands.

The Index, as a whole, dipped 11.16 points (0.53 percent) to 2,094.62, as 1,838 shares worth $25,215.20 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, was up 3.73 points (0.39 percent) at 959.46.
