Butterfield Bank's common shares slipped 10 cents (2.5 percent) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank dropped to $3.90, with 1,200 shares traded.

Overall the Index fell 17.47 points (0.87 percent) to 1,995.58, as 1,200 shares worth $4,715 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 0.43 points (0.04 percent) at 962.37.
