NEW YORK (Bloomberg) - Progressive Corp., the fourth-largest US auto insurer, said Jeffrey Kelly resigned from the board of directors.

Mr. Kelly stepped down in connection with his appointment as chief financial officer of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd., according to a regulatory filing on Friday by Mayfield Village, Ohio-based Progressive.
